Create Grouped gallery

Displays product images linked to the selected variant only, allowing customers to view images relevant to their chosen option.

Use consistent image sizes for all products. Configure the option from the first group — for example, COLOR(1), SIZE(2), MATERIAL(3). The main option in this case is COLOR


  • Open the product in your Shopify Admin panel.

  • Upload product images and organize them according to color.

  • Assign the corresponding images to each product variant.


  • The first product option is Color, with the following values: Pink, Black, White.

The example product contains 9 images in total:

3 images = Pink

3 images = Black

3 images = White

  • In the Product metafields panel, under Grouped gallery, enter the color names separated by commas - without spaces.


This setup ensures that images are grouped and displayed according to the selected color.

Pink,Pink,Pink,Black,Black,Black,White,White,White

Example:

Result: A total of 9 images have been uploaded, with 3 images representing each of the 3 colors. In the product metafield, the color names are listed as 9 separate words, corresponding to each image. This ensures that each image is properly tagged and organized by color in the system.
