Products

The Products chapter includes all sections designed to display individual products, product groups, and product-related content across your storefront.

These sections allow merchants to customize how products are presented — whether as featured highlights, organized lists, or interactive collections. Each section offers layout flexibility, enabling unique designs for homepages, collection pages, or custom landing pages.

Below are the sections included under the Products category:

Highlights a single selected product with an image, title, price, description, and call-to-action button. This section is ideal for promoting a specific item, bestseller, or new arrival. Merchants can enable product options, add to cart functionality, and adjust layout alignment and image position.

Lookbook

A visually immersive layout that presents products within lifestyle images or styled scenes. The Lookbook section allows tagging individual products within an image, making it interactive and shoppable. Perfect for fashion, decor, or editorial storytelling layouts.

Product Recommendations

Displays automatically suggested or manually selected related products on product pages. This section encourages upselling and cross-selling by showing items that complement or are similar to the currently viewed product. It integrates with Shopify’s built-in recommendation logic.

Product List

A flexible section that displays multiple products from selected collections. It supports custom sorting, adjustable grid settings, hover effects, and quick add-to-cart options. Suitable for showcasing featured collections or curated product groups.

Product List: Banners

Combines promotional banners with product listings to create visually dynamic layouts. Each banner can include text or a button linking to a product or collection, helping guide customers to featured categories while maintaining an engaging design.

Product List: Listing

A structured, text-focused layout where products are displayed in a list rather than a grid. Each product block may include an image, title, price, and optional description. This style is ideal for simple, informational product layouts.

Product List: Row

Displays products horizontally in a single-row slider format. This section is useful for carousels or horizontally scrollable product displays, often placed on homepages or promotional pages to highlight featured items.

Product List: Table

Presents products in a table-style format, typically showing product images, titles, prices, and availability in a compact, organized layout. Suitable for B2B stores or shops that require a more data-driven presentation.

Product List: Tabs

Allows multiple product categories or collections to be displayed under separate tabs. Customers can easily switch between tabs to browse products without leaving the page. Ideal for compact yet comprehensive layouts.

Product List: Tabs Listing

A variant of the Tabs layout with an emphasis on structured listings rather than grids. It combines tabbed navigation with a vertical product list, providing both organization and readability.

Product List: Tabs Vertical

Displays collection tabs vertically on the side, allowing users to switch between product categories without page reloads. This design works well in sidebar-oriented or narrow layout structures.

Product List: with Banner

Integrates a promotional banner above or beside a product list. This layout helps merchants visually connect promotions with featured products — for example, seasonal sales or special collections.

Recently Viewed

Automatically shows products that a customer has recently viewed. This section enhances user experience by allowing quick access to previously visited items, improving engagement and potential conversions.

Scrolling Product List

Displays products in a continuous horizontal scrolling format. Ideal for modern, dynamic layouts where movement and visual flow enhance the browsing experience. Often used on homepages or mobile-optimized designs.

Shop the Feed

Integrates social media feeds (typically Instagram) with direct links to the featured products. This section transforms social posts into shoppable content, helping bridge lifestyle imagery and product discovery.
